As many people know I'm very anti-recast. I think that they're terrible for the hobby, and that they hurt the artists who make these beautiful dolls. I can understand the want to save money, but its beyond that. If you're actively going out of your way to hurt someone then its not right.
I feel the same way. I do understand the urge that some of us have to get one particuliar doll that we can't afford, or find, however I find it very egoist to just decide to buy some copy of it without any consideration for the artists behind these.
